was up the bull river doing some shed hunting a while ago and ran into some rams a short distance into the hike, they were all heading to the road. all together there was close to 100 animals in 3 different groups, took some pics of the first ones and thought i would post them up, closest i got to the rams here was about 60 yards, one ram in the group was driving out.

Looks like a great spot for those guys coming right around a blind corner like that, lol. Also, I can't imagine that ashphalt tasting well... left over salt crushed onto the road?

Very cool. I would love to live in a place one day that I can see sheep on my way to work! Great pictures.
Sure tough to count rings on those rams!

its actually kinda weird ,,in the off season, even hiking in the forest, they seem to not be afraid of anything, the stance they give you when they spot you is like "what the hell are you doing in my forest?"
the big jerks look like they may charge you if ya get to close,

Two years ago I photographed an immature RAM on that same corner, in October. I wonder if one of those Rams is the immature I saw then?

They have been crossing at the same spot for the 40 years that I have lived in this part of the world!
