Spring bear regulations?

So this will be only my second spring trying to find a nice bear and realized that they will be coming out with new regs this year for 2012 to 2014 but the regs don't usually come out until like June or July or something dont they? So for spring bear this spring 2012 do we just use last years regs still??

If there's any changes to the bear regulations they'll atleast be posted on the ministry's website before the season.

I beleive if you look, the spring season is shown in the regs as 2013

This is a clip taken from Reg 1, it clearly shows when you can hunt bears and as the book is for the the 2010 to 2012 seasons, until this book is replaced you will follow the dates listed.


BLACK BEAR 3-12 to 3-20, 3-26 to 3-44 Sept 1 - Nov 30
3-46 Sept 20 - Nov 30
3-12 to 3-20, 3-26 to 3-33, 3-46 Apr 1 - June 15
3-34 to 3-44 Apr 1 - June 30

Just keep a copy with you in the truck while spring bear hunting. They are usually replaced soon after spring bear is closed.
