Out shooting this afternoon on some private land, dog was running ahead of me on way to check targets and pulled this out of the snow in the field

I have seen a couple unborn bison and elk calves from the mothers shot in Jan and they look the same as that. It would be a guess as to what species. There is some very dark hair starting to show and already signs of a pointed hoof, I would guess Moose

I am guessing a coyote found it from a road or wolf kill gut pile and dropped it there while he was being shot at.

I am 99% sure that it is a Calf foot (cattle) this is calveing season and there are lots of mis carried calves. eagles coyotes etc. could have carried that from anywhere.
