and is the deer a little on the fat side, despite it's winter coat?

Yup....if you shoot it in season you cut your tag as a doe even if it has nuts...I think those are bumps.

There are a couple of whitetail bucks that come into my yard regularly and they have already dropped their antlers.....???? Early I thought

it's a fat [big bonned] mulie. the lumps on it's head made it looked a little like a shedded buck.

Yes!!...Antlerless!......Pretty sure its a Doe (young looking) but a Doe, even if it were a button Buck you would be good to go!!.....Buttons are less then an inch long!

She is pregnant. In good shape too, hope the weather keeps cooperating.
