Co-worker in 7-20A LEH

I have a co-worker with a draw for elk in 7-20A. He and his 78 year old father have been there since last Sunday. Yesterday I asked if they had any elk steaks yet and the text that came back at 4:00pm was no. If anyone has current any info that they are willing share it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Lots wolves in that are right now, hear em almost every weekend im out there. Havn't seen elk since October due to em.

I wonder where they are hunting out there. There's no shortage of elk in 7-20A by the reports of friends of mine that farm in that zone. I used to ranch in 7-20 and the elk were a bloody nuisance. We built a game fence around the hay yard to keep them from eating all the feed for the cattle and horses. They are hell on wheels in alfalfa regrowth, too. Paw the snot out of it.

unseasonal warm temperatures for the most of this winter and exceptional small amounts of accumulated snow, make for easy survival for elk, and everything else so far this winter,,,

many local fields around here still have 100's of hay bales untouched by elk herds so far this winter, most winters they have destroyed the same bales in the same fields by now,

the late LEH elk hunt is NOT the easy " just - like - shooting - fish - in - a - barrel - hunt" like it was up until a couple of years ago,

one butcher in Dawson Creek has closed his doors for the winter due to "lack of business from hunt success 7-20 elk LEH",
the other butcher a close acquaintance of mine,, still operating , but has HAD DISMAL Numbers of elk brought in from this 2011-2012 LEH hunt this winter,,
