Well last Saturday I kept some birds from Friday to pluck. So this is my first full weekend with no ducks involved. There's not even a football game this weekend. And my wife is making noises about cleaning the shop. Always feel kind of lost or forlorn this time of year. Maybe that's why the move to change the season dates? I think I'd still get the same feeling whenever they end the season though. Oh well maybe I'll lace up the boots and go look for deer sheds .

Went to look for sheds instead of dusting. Didn't find any but I found the back "whale tail" broken off the back of an elk antler.
