I really Miss Trapping Beaver..

The one thing I have really Missed after leaving the island two years ago is beaver trapping ,I was going to take over my teacher my masters trap line but was not to be :icon_frow the 330 conibear you can see set behind me on my right side in the water 3 inches as for the setters to my right ,our best day was 8 beavers..

Yes you are correct on you thoughts about the skinning job the key is to have a blade sharp enough to shave with it..

I too miss trapping beaver .... pulled quite a good number out of the PIT PUB while at UBC back in the day. Gave up my "trapping license" a few years back so only memories remain.
Getting back into it is "like riding a bike" I've heard ...

The only thing Now is you might get 20.00 for a Double Blanket. Marten are only 30.00. Prob make more on Squirrels and weasels by Volume
