Wolves in 3-12/3-13??

So that i can post some pics onto BHB's thread... :)

Does anyone have any info on wolves in 3-12/3-13 area? When I hunted deer in that area I never really thought to look for wolf sign, but as I have the itch to get out more and more these days I'd love to go after some of these guys.
I'm in the eastern fraser valley, so could travel a bit farther, but these are the closest areas that are open and am just wondering if anyone has any info for that part of the world? oh and yea...any thoughts on cats there too?

I've seen hundreds of yotes in 3-12 but never a wolf. I have heard that they are there, though

Oh there's wolves in 3-12. Give it a shot around Rock/Mellin.

Maybe above Nicomen creek, Spences, Merritt back towards Spaist Mnt. maybe, Anderson down by Boston Bar ..... check the regs on dates though..... be cool if you called them in with a predator call.

I am up there alot (Pennask area) from Apr - Oct and have never seen a wolf. Seen the odd coyote but never a wolf. Doesn't mean they are there though. Busy area during the "tourist" season and they have logged the sh!t of it over the last ten years due to the beetle kill. I know the moose sightings have dropped dramatically in the last five years there thoug so something is going on - we assumed it was because of the recent massive cutblocks.

trap in the area and yes there are wolves .2 seperate pack ,one with 3 or 4 and the other 6 or 7 .they seem to pass through every 2 to 3 weeks

Are you talking about 3-12 or 3-13? I'm thinking a road trip this weekend is in order :)

If Me I would get some animal parts in this area and see what unfolds :wink:..
