Im am interested in making this my new stomping ground. Does anyone have any info about access. I may try spring bear hunting in there while scouting for mule deer. I wanna get to the tops of the mountains and see if I can spot any goats as well. I live in Vernon so I will be coming in there so accessing it from revelstoke malakwa side of things.
Thanks

In fall of 2010 several bridges and crossings were destroyed after heavy rainfall. Talking with Louisiana Pacific (the local forest licensee) the crossings at 28 and 42-km won't be accessible for awhile (not reapired prior to this winter). Access is possible from the north end through Seymour and Ratchford but that is a long way around.
It is some tough ground with not many new cutblocks. The Perry side is actually MU 3-35 until you cross height of land towards Revelstoke Lake. Hope this helps.

Some goats out there, pretty good moose population and very small localized Muley population.

Usually get too much snow every couple years and a die-off.
Never seen any white-tails other than down by the Trans Can.
