Wow,
Seriously put in an effort today. It was absolutely COLD. An intense blizzard! 2 feet of snow on the walk in! Never had ducks come in so close and right into the spread so much. We hammered em hard today. The highlight was our last duck which landed right in the spread. A nice canvas back from the valley. Not sure if they are common around here, but it was our first one!

Gonna be doing a euro mount on him.

And i thought we were nuts going hunting with the hounds today in this blizzard (still feel cold)dont think i would have even entertained the notion of being in the water in this weather.

Congrats on some well earned trophys.

Looks like duck hunting has definitely become much more then "something to do" for yah!! Your persistence is admirable.

A horseshoe that far up the sphincter must really hurt.

Good lord man, only a handful of cans get harvested in the valley if that even. Right up there with a Euro wigeon.

Congrats, I know hunters who have gone their whole lives and not taken or seen one in the Fraser valley.

Wow...nothing like a reward for braving the elements...

Weather like that it either works perfect or it doesn't work at all, glad it was perfect for ya!!!

Cant wait to see a pic of the mount of that Trophy!!

You must have the whole damn horse up you know were. I'm starting to not like your posts:twisted:. But seriously I hope you know how damn lucky you've been, Canvasbacks are few and far between and band's I've only got two in 40 years. Your hooked for life now, good for you.:-D

Awesome, congratulations on the cb! We've had some super hunts in snow storms, the poor visibility seems to beneficial to the hunters more than the hunted. Judging by the pictures you have earned your hot toddy for the day.
