Thanks...it was a prairie elk from here in Alberta and I was super happy to draw the tag a couple years ago. Amazing hunt, awesome friends, and a super bull. My wife drew the same tag (late season) in 2010 and killed her first bull and a ram in the same year. We've actually got video of both her bull and her ram from that year as well.

Heres mine....

We should be moved out there in the next 2 months. Got a couple places in Cranbrook we really like and just waiting for our house to sell out here. I'll be staying in a hotel for the next month or two until that happens. Will have to buy you a coffee one day and tell some stories once we get settled.

Great videos! Can i ask what kind of camera you are using? What kind of bugle do you prefer? Small pack or large? I have a Terminator and a small pack--both primes and i have had excellent results with both... just depends on the situation i find. Thanks for sharing the vids!

hey wayne, with all the footage you have shot over the years, you have to admit that camera has served you well, heck if it were me,i'd retire as a way of it serving you well by giving you so many memories on film.technoligy has advanced and most of the new cameras of today will serve you better for sure.

Yes you are right Bruce the camera has been through hell and back last June when I was riding my quad scouting for animals the camera fell out of my jacket onto the ground when I was going 10k an hour that did not help the situation at all ,I have over 3000 movie clips over the last 5 years so it had done its job over them 5 years I have over 700 clips on You Tube right now and that did not include hitting the wrong key and deleting 400 clips before I had realized what I had done.

When I get a new camera I will take it out into the bush and do some filming from my shed hunts in the next few weeks and then put the clips on a DVD disk and then play them on my 50 inch TV and see how clear they are if there not good and clear then the camera will be returned to the place I bought it from ,stay tuned for some good shed hunting clips with my new video camera in 2012 H-47..

gopro cameras are cool ,however they olny have a 4x without any zoom capabilities and you do not have a view finder in which to look at as your trying to follow a moving animal.
it would be a little different mounted on a bow or a gun but you would never see the accual shot due to re-coil.
it is a lil tough for us men that do not have the natural multi-tasking abilities that is born into just about every woman out there, but we do our best lol

You got that right some women are not cut out for being out in the wild or packing out game animals as for a rifle and to shot the animal and clean it...
