Woke up to white snow, figured we could finally put blinds with snow covers on them to good use.

Could of limited on wigeon early but we were holding out on late season teals. I even managed a first for me, I tripled on 3 drake teals, didnt even know they were drakes till they were back in hand. They even lit right with the teal decoys before I swatted the first one and connected on the other two.

Matt got a primo bull wigeon, nice little sprig on it and big drake.

Nice set of birds...I expect that the drakes are looking nice this time of year?

Oyeah, there's already 2 nice drakes on the wall from last year so all these will be in the oven instead.

Congrats! Most of the teals we shoot get really busted up under the #2's, but earlier this year I managed a real nice bull of a drake teal that only had 1 pellet in the head... got that off to the taxy right away.

Nice shooting, longshot jr.

Kelly, the first duck I ever shot was on the water. I didnt graduate to shooting flying things till 2-3 hunts and 4-5 birds later when I was 11-12

I come from a long line of meat hunters. Matt and I`s great grandpa was known to lineup 2-3 mallards on the water for a single shot. Now thats what I`m talking about.
