just got home from a 3 day hunt north of ft. st, james.

our hunting party had 3 leh draws and we came back with 3 leh moose.

After nailing the first bull 2 hours into the hunt our expectations were exceeded. we then knew we had a good shot of limiting out on moose:lol: .

each bull that was shot was bigger than the last one, and my father in law is getting his moose mounted by Ray Wiens at Heads above the rest taxidermy.

also an interseting note is that 2 of the bulls we took were in the exact foot prints of last years 2 moose. interesting .

I will get on the pics for you guys. the view is incredible.

congrats....my moms bf just got back from there and they only seen one moose ....he did take a bear however...

didnt even see one.

Im surprised since there was alot of gut smell in a small area as well.

how many did u see dale?

That wouldn't be in 7-26 would it?

I just got back from a 2 week trip in that area with my dad/uncle/cousin the other day. I got my first moose ever, a 49 1/2" bull, on day 2 :)

my moms bf was up in 7-25 and they said they seen nothing but they are goin back up there once more at the end of the month....they said they did see a gut pile one day when they drove up into 7-26...

I cant find my usb plug in to download the pics so I will go to london drugs and burn a cd then upload em on here for you guys.

Thats okay, I got to see the moose rack at Ray's last weekend. Nice moose. Ray is doing up my bear hide and a buddy's bear rug for him. Looks like he does nice work.
