One mule deer buck just passed McQueen Lake a four by three meat buck on October 11th. The meat was fantastic I got three steaks left, we ate it all already. The best deer meat I have had, mouth watering.
Jel .. This year? I want one by the middle of September for meat, nice and fat.

Nill........and had a mit full of tags to. Passed on early stuff, a bear, and a couple of little mulies, should have got out for a whitey doe but never.
BUT the freezer is full (my Son got his Moose) I am certainly more driven when I can see the bottom of freezer. Next year, next year lookout ungulates.

The spear has a hilt built into it so it won't pass through. The spear is held and thrust, not thrown. Dogs are used to Surround the animal, but they do not hold it.

Did not do any pigeon hunting but killed close to 3000 doves in 4 days. Pretty phenomenal place to hunt.

First year in over 25 that i never killed anything big,Although i did Kill countless camp refreshments and some ditch chicken's. I let my 12yr old son fill the freezer, He got a 6pt bull elk and a dry whitie doe. Freezer full. Last year we put in two elk and two deer and it was just too much. I did horn hunt but never saw anything above average. I was going to bowhunt for the 2012 season to bring back the excitement again, let the boy look after the meat issues.

1 bull moose, 1 muley buck,1 whitetail buck, 2 chees bits and a few pretzels. Split half the moose to hunting partners and the mulie to partners on another hunt as they did not get anything. Whitetail rib eyes for dinner tonight :)
