so i went to deer lake yesterday and saw a weird sight, this mallard is different in two aspects no white ring neck and no brown chest. It doesnt look like any kind of hybrid, its just like its body is too lazy to make a ring or chest marks

hybrid cross between a Canada goose and a mallard, have to check his tail feathers to confirm.

he's using a tooth pick in image 3.

he's a little on the chubby/large size.

edit, and where is his white neck ring?

We have a couple exactly like that in a lake behind our home in Abby..
Also a bunch of other ducks... very large, white with black heads almost like a Loon without speckles, no idea what they are...
