Falkland and lumby buck contests

Just wondering if anyone knows if there will be the falkland and lumby big buck contests this year and if so when the dates are. I've never been to either of these and was interested in checking them out this year.

They usually have them every year.
They dont advertise much, but someone usually makes mention of it on here!

is it open to the public?
what is the admission fee?
Is it a dinner event?
what time does it start, and how long does it run?
Family friendly event?

The public can go, it is at the blue ox so no kids and I will find out tomorrow what time. There is food at the ox, but it is not like you buy a ticket and gets you dinner, afterwards everyone heads over to the rams where there is a band, usually a good night:)

Is the Ram still open? I thought the building was all closed up ?
