Just got my first Elk

Well I just got my first elk tonight!!!! Super happy looked all day and at the last minute this great 7x8 came out just on private property about a foot over the fence I shot him as he was jumping over the fence I thought the season was over but my buddy came over and he is first nations so I got it under him. Can't wait to post pics. Just outside Cranbrook towards jaffray.

It is plain and simple if you do not report it your are a poacher no better then anyone else. You can tell yourself something different all day long wont make a difference.
