I like it. Hard to do? How does the joint look? And what does the fake skull cost?

I think it looks great, but $120+tax is kinda steep. Worth it if you have a real nice set of sheds or if you screw up your own euro mount.

Does anyone know what a taxidermist would charge for a euro? ballpark figure?

Even on mountainmikes reproductions site they are only $32-$42 ....

I asked a taxi how much my mule deer euro would cost, and he charges $250 for deer

Looks fantastic heck of a job, wood have been better if your rack was bigger, lol.
Jel .. Just pulling your chain, nice buck rack and presentation.

Here is a moose done on a fiberglass skull.

Dave, I meant to send this idea to you when you were inquiring about skull types.

We use it at outdoor shows in the states.

I did a quick cabelas online search. I rechecked again, you're right its $40 for the mount. I saw the whole artificial trophy mount price.

I paid $ 280 for my euro-mount a few years ago. Ever since I do the mounts myself at home. Having seen the artificial mount here I might purchase a few of them, still cheaper then by the taxidermist and would save me a lot of work and time.

Looks good. I may try that on a set of DEWT antlers I have. I had to cut the skull to fly them back on an airline that wouldn't take "bounty". (Put them in a tote).

Why anyone would pay a taxidermist for a euro mount is beyond me. Pretty easy to do yourself, though time-consuming....

another cool thing about it is that it comes with a wall mount (which lets you adjust the angle).

I would use an artificial skull for sheds for sure. For animals I've killed, I prefer the original skull. I like things to be authentic if possible.
