Hey guys, so im gunna start doing some shed hunting this year and am just wondering when a good time to start looking is.

dont start too early because you will stress the animals out and push them out of the areas there in. depends on what your going for. you could do a search theres lots of threads like this on the site!!

I think majority of bucks have lost their headgear by February, even heard of some already missing some antlers.

My self I go out for a look in mid Jan but the real time that starts getting good to find sheds is the end of Feb most of the deer have last there head gear by then but not the elk..
