Are there any meat cooler in Fort st. james?

Not sure where you're staying but it should be plenty cold in the bush at that time of year.

Not to sure but just came back from a hunt in Ft St James. Good hunt. Lots of moose. Cool enough now to hang meat for a week in the bush. It was a bit warm last week for a few days but has cooled down again. They are starting to burn brush plies in the bush now so you might end up with smoked meat as well. Should check with your meat cutter to see if he has room as most local cutters in the PG area are booked up.:twisted:

Probably too late to pass this on, but there aren't any places in Fort, however, Vanderhoof @ the Country Meat Locker is your best bet...However, like Moosetang said, they are getting booked up...
