Over the weekend the Trapper up in the Postill Lake Area had a Bobcat stolen out of one of their snare sets. Anyone skinning out a Cat will recognize the snare ring on it meaning that it was trapped. This cannot be hidden. If someone offers to sell a Cat make sure that there is a tag. Trapping is a tough enough busness as it is without having someone poaching on our lines.

Just curious how they knew it was a bobcat that was trapped? Tracks? Could it be another animal that ate it?

Reminds me of the episode of Seinfield when Craemer finds the lobster traps. That sucks that it is gone.

They'd be able too see the cat tracks and human tracks

Not much for snow down low though.

The tracks were plainly evident. The cat was snared. Cats do not wear boots, drive quads nor do they carry wire cutters.

Was that the guy that lives by the bridge?

Ridiculous.

Hope he finds the arshole and gets his cat back.
