Im starting my Check-list for the gear I need to bring, and am wondering what are some key things that be good to bring along. The hunt will be by foot for 14 days, for stone sheep.

Do a search on here for "sheep hunting gear list" and you'll get a few threads to read. Often it's the little things that a guy may not think of that can bite you (i.e chapstick, earplugs, enough ammo to re-sight the rifle, etc). Get a few gear lists from experienced sheep hunters and you'll see a pattern. PM sent.

14 days straight? What kind of temps?
I have not prepared for a sheep hunt but I,m guessing that your gear list won't be much different than any other type of hunt....High quality boots, high quality optics,a very comfortable pack, duct tape for stopping blisters and a good water filter will be high on the priority list.

I have a pretty refined gear list for an alpine mule deer hunt I can send you....Just PM me and if you want it.

14 days is pretty ambitious....

Give thought to food drops or having to return to basecamp for more food.....

Patience and determination to have a "good time" despite what mother nature decides to throw at you.
Enjoy the mountains.

What SSS said.

2 weeks is a long time in the mountains and very doable if you go in with a positive mind set and have a good time without any pressure to take anything and enjoy all the intricities a sheep hunt entails from weather, wildlife, and scenery.
