Im planning a bow hunting trip for a week up to the cranbrook area for a elk and whitetail. I went last year and i know some of the area. The guys i went with last year are moving to alberta so im looking for someone in the lower mainland area. We split the costs and the meat. This is my 3rd year of bow hunting, but ive been hunting since i was 10. I am now 32. In the area i want to go any bull elk is open and under 1100 meter antlerless elk are open. As well as any buck.

I have most of the equipment: truck, quad, trailer, wall tent genset etc..

Let me know if your interested.

Man I can't believe you haven't found anyone yet! Do you have the stink or something? If I wasn't set up I'd be happy to join someone with some experience and all the gear!

I would love to go but I got the Archery Elk draw on the Island this year so I will be staying on the rock...

I hate you! ;-) Hope you didn't use up ALL your luck winning the lotto and still have some in the bank for the Rosie hunt!

Well I have been shooting quite a bit out to 60 yards to get all of my form and aim into good solid muscle memory. My groups are good. I am trying to do any research I can. I want to do as much as I can to ensure that I can put a nice elk on the ground.

I Mike,
I live in the Nelson area and would be happy to join you for a few days. I am new to bow hunting but have hunted in the Kootenays for a few years and come equipped.
