found this guy hanging out in the neighboors yard today when I woke up. What kind of duck is this? I could'nt find it on google anywhere. sorry about the picture, its the first time I've taken a pic. through my binos.

Its likely a domestic duck. See the duck pictures on the website <http://greenmeadowsblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/mule-and-hinny-ducks.html> they have the red blaze across the eye like your duck.

I saw alot of Ducks like that at my Dads' place in Florida.......maybe this guy's lost??:-D

x2,the red around the eyes/face.Body colour varies quite abit,and can be crossed with other domestics.Gramps had 'em on his farm too.

We raised Muscovy ducks in the past too they can be real aggressive but quite tasty though. The Peking (white) and Rouen (mallard colors) are much more friendly.

It's a web-footed flycatcher. Seriously, people keep them around their barns to keep the flies under control - they can snatch them right out of the air.
