We forgot our cameras on a few of our better hunts so we only have these but we do have the memories.

rd....
Where do you guys do your shooting? Be an ex-pegger/toban we hunted for years up on both the mainland and island side of the causeway going on to Hecla. Miss those shoots up that way.

Most of our hunting is done between the Floodway and Highway#12 on #1 E. on both sides of the highway. We did some scouting and wound up with permission on all of this land. The bonus being I am no more than half an hour from great waterfowling or deer hunting.

Nice and close to home!!
Can you hunt deer with a rifle in there or is it just bow/shotgun/muzzie as I seem to think it used to be??

Just the last three. Also, you cannot hunt ON the floodway anymore either. They`re also doubling the size of the floodway around the city because of the flood of 97. Going to take a few years.

Ya.....my family is still in the Peg so I heard more than just a bit about the floodway. I never realized you could hunt on it??
I am looking forward to getting back in early November to chase some Whitey's out towards Spruce Woods with the old traditional muzzie.
Can't wait....it has been a few years now.
Good to see a few pics coming from home with some big central flyway honkers!!
Looks like you guys are having a good season. Thanks for posting some pics for us guys who have 3 more sleeps until our main duck/goose season opener!
Dano
BTW, how does a guy from Manitoba end up posting on Hunting B.C.???
