From seaducks to park ducks

Hunted some flooded timber since all this new rain put alot of water in the hole.

Pretty slow morning but just steady enough to make it a good hunt.

Its taken awhile but I've come to a conclusion, my dad shot one 4 years ago. And I've seen enough mallards hit the dirt in the meanwhile that either we are the unluckiest people alive or our farm acts as a double magnet effect. You know when you have two magnets and they repel eachother? Thats what happened to banded birds here, they cant land, they have to go elsewhere.

Nothing wrong with being a ladies man.....ladies LOVE BLING.....nice shoot. Had to go for a quick trip across the moat so lkeft my partners incharge 11 mallards and some widgeon yesterday. Ill be back at it Mon. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL, TIGHT LINES AND FULL BAGS FOR '12.
