so i took out the new camera on christmas day and we all had a blast, we took out two family members who had never been, they had a great time too. We ended up with 7 birds after the great wind we had... and some great pictures:

I had never used the camera so cut me some slack... (i think the pics are good) if you guys like the pics tell me and ill take more:

with the heavy wind on christmas day, I couldn't even stand outside for 5 mins let alone go out and hunt.

we put them all into a stew for dinner... we made sure to marinate the merg breasts for a good while, they werent too foul. the other ducks made up for it.
its a nikon d5000 with a 200mm lens.

Good stuff! I would love to have my grandparents Nikon D90, I can do some cool shots with it!!

Actually Sunshine, quite the contrary, read his post then respond intelligently please! Personally I could care less what he does but I would be careful on what a person says on the www. But then you knew that right? K

they already have... once again we ate the breasts and the ones of the merganser. it may have seemed that we didn't eat them but we made sure to. john posted about recipes but i meant to say that we had already ate them... sorry if anybody got the wrong idea, we marinated the breasts of the merg and the breasts of a hen goldeneye that we shot aswell in jack daniels for an hour and then threw them in with the rest
