The dog skull would have been a keeper at my house, just can't tell if it's a wolf or a yote? A little more weathering and it would be perfect.

sound like my house, every skull my son find he has to bring home so we can clean it up for his room.

The skull made the trip home to the partners. It's getting the peroxide treatment. Pretty sure it's a wolf.

All those are off the island.

I was told there are no color phase bears on the Island????? Never seen one posted either???

No he's not an island bear. We only have blacks and the very odd grizzly :-D

I did state the first pics were not from the island the second ones are though.I can see how my wording may have caused some confusion though.

We usually see one or two every year but really can't be bothered while we're fishing. The weather is usually pretty warm and it would be a bit of a chore having to deal with the meat.
Maybe one year :)
