you got a fiberglass boat or a car top aluminum ..i got two mechanical 18 inch boom scotties..with the 4 bolt dual base style ..is that to big for your boat

looking for 1 or 2 downriggers for lake fishing let me know if you have one you don't need thanks:mrgreen: I've got some kind of Down Rigger here, a friend was moving to town and dropped of a ton of Salmon gear he used Commercial Fishing at the coast. He said to sell it for what ever I can get for it and we'll split the profit. I'll take a pic in the next few days and post it of some of the Salmon Gear, lots of stuff still in the box's it came in.

no this style wont work on an aluminum .they need to be mounted on a base

Get a couple lake trolls from Scotty, around $70, but you can find them cheaper.

Go to the BC fishing sites, see them come up all the time for cheap.

I have a couple and they work great on my 12' tin boat.

You can also go with the old style black or blue Scottys with the short 12" boom. You will need to build a mount, which is easy with 2x4's.
