got out to chilliwack by 1 in the afternoon, the ducks were there but not as much as last week. Shot 2 mallards and 3 wood ducks, didn't get as many ducks as expected but the woodies were a great treat. also, got access to a really nice spot, some unharvested corn surrounded by creeks. Now, I am just going to wait for some fresh snow on the fields!

Nice shooting! One of my spots has a few woodies sitting in the timber so maybe I'll do a super sneak attack and wait there with a high power pellet gun so I can get a perfect wall mount! lol

Congrats, longshot jr.

The 3 of us got our limit of mostly mallards this morning in one local farm around my area which I hunt lot in no time.

Pretty quiet in Boundary Bay on the weekend. I think the weather really slowed things down. It seemed warmer this weekend and there was no rain or wind. Saw a few huge rafts of ducks out on the water and they seemed quite happy to just sit there and enjoy the good weather.

Well, the last time I went out to ladner was 2 weeks ago, only shot 2 snow geese and that was all. I was planning on going back there again but the reports aren't great. I am thinking that most of them are busy feeding in the farms before the snow, For that reason I am hunting the Farm areas more and have been seeing tons of ducks feeding heavily in the corn fields. The action will pick up probably after it snows.

Thanks Nano and Longshot Jr.

Well that's great! The field which we were on was hunted the day before by some other fellows and they got 40 some mallards out of there. Hoping to get similar action next week.

Sorry, won't be able to do it this season, since I, myself, am bugging my dad and uncle to take me out and show me some of their spots.
