:-D I think there will be a small war happening on Dinsdale Farms in the morn??
For those lucky enough to be drawn for the field, hostilities commence at 8am. Around 700 birds have been using the area!! Good luck to all!!:-D

the valley is a waste land! not in a good way. Hopefully some shootable birds show up soon.

Lots on the water but the 20-30kn southeasterlies are making it impossible to get out.

I can't put my name in for the opening draw at Dinsdale's as I am the coordenator for the MOE !! Just imagine if I was drawn??? Ha, Ha. Only 6 shooters
in the field on any given day! Lots of banging this morning from there so I imagine some honkers died?? Worst Dec. I can remember in my 58 yrs.of this
insanity called waterfowling??? Hope everyone is doing better than our crew??? Good luck to all!---Field Marshal.

C_F....(other than that one at the bottom of the pic) did you scare them to death?!? No holes in them at all. Or are you that good that they were all 'head-shot'? :)

You're right - they are one of the tastiest little blighters that fly. Congrats on some fine fare.

Its funny we shoot em no differently then anything else. Maybe its their body to wing difference that more get winged. Its either that or water swatting helps hahahah

This was after opener. All those teals werent shot up either.

Well, why is it that is this thread is about Dinsdale geese, and we havent seen one yet?

Did a bit of a gun and run morning. The geese threw me a loop and headed for grass this morning, completely out of left field. Not only the ones I targetted but other groups aswell around the valley.

Had a single lesser want in bad, cut him, a ball of ducks came rolling through and I pulled on the drake pinnie. And then 4 honkers came in and I picked the 2 ganders hahahaha. I was in and out early, and let the rest of the geese sit a few hundred yards away. Wasnt on the X and not prepared to burn it for 2 more geese when I could of stayed 2 hours longer and got them.
