Anyone ever hunt up the Ospika River off Williston??

Thinking of putting in for the almost guarantee draw for 7-37 for moose as my friend has a riverboat and looking at Google maps it looks interesting but am wodering if anyone has hunted up there and were willing to give some info on the trip and what animals were poking around.Thanks,Birchboy

Be careful there.
Years ago while hunting the lake and walking to the shore one night with a flashlight I noticed an SOS signal coming from the mouth of that river where it came into the lake. The next day we investigated. 3 hunters with a Jet trapped behind about 100 yards of logs that jammed the river mouth, wind blew in from the lake, tons of deadheads in those days, they were days over due and loosing what moose that they had shot. We got help, later that day Chopper City flew them out ....... they wrote about it in BC Outdoors ..... couple teachers and Buddy from McKenzie .... never did get a thank you even. Good to see they were Ok though. Sheep and Bou back there and G bear.
