this is really cool! check it out!

Olney, Ill. —
A true “freak of nature” was taken west of West Salem during the second shotgun season over the weekend. Richard Lomas, a farmhand for George Knackmuhs, shot this 30-point doe on the late Richard Knackmuhs Farm. The deer, which features a non-typical rack, a drop antler still in velvet and no evidence of male genitalia, also does not appear to have ever given birth. Locals estimate the deer to be about 4-5 years old.

I've SHOT an antlered doe. Almost crapped my pants when I pulled it's legs apart to start gutting and was wondering where the hell the jewels were.

Check out Grizzeze's thread about an antlered Doe mule deer our friend got on our Elk trip last year... Scores in the 150's. I have a gun club meeting tonight or I'd dig up the link.

It happens, I've read about it before. Apparently they never shed the antlers so they just keep growing.

My neighbor shot a 4x4 mule doe 3 years ago. I remember writing a post about it on here. I got heckled by the know-it-alls. Now I know too!!!!
Yup, I was thinking that looked like Medusa as well!!!
