Has anyone heard of a hunter harvesting a doe with a radio collar on here in Pemberton??

We are missing one of the GPS collars. The doe was "detected" on the winter range in the Tenquille Trail area on October 23rd. Sometime between then and November 16th she disappeared.....

A recent helicopter search was not able to detect the collar anywhere in the Pemberton area.

Please spread the word... if you or your friends and associates know anything about this please contact the PWA or the Ministry. The migration information which was collected through the summer is stored in the collar's "black box" and cannot be retrieved unless we get our hands on the collar again. Furthermore, the collar is valuable and can be used again.

We have had one collar returned from a hunter in North Vancouver already. Much appreciated.
