I moved up to the peace this year and while it was a busy fall with getting the move sorted out, finding a place, a job etc. I did find some time to get out hunting. I am super excited for next season to be able to put some serious time in!

Anyways, here's a couple pictures of my first moose! One shot with the Husqvarna 3006 knocked him down (a little high broke his back) and I followed up with a head shot to finish him off. What an awesome feeling to finally kill my first moose, and a good one to boot!

A full freezer of meat and half complete euro mount, next step peroxide!

I also put in some time elk hunting, passed up an opportunity on a young legal bull and many cows throughout the season. I never did tag one myself but I was in on a hunt with a friend and we buggled in this bull.

A couple pictures from a run up the river with another friend of mine.

Also went on a Short Sheep trip on thanksgiving long weekend, a little different than hunting in august! No luck with any rams but I had a couple goats in my crosshairs, and while they were beautiful with their long winter coats, the two billies just didn't have the head gear we we're looking for.

Was pretty busy with work this november but got some time out for deer as well, passed up a couple 4 point mule deer and blew two chances on whitetails I would have gladly shot. So no deer this year, but I did not put in much time so it was expected. Next year will be different!

Now on to Coyotes! No shortage of them here, should be a fun winter.

Many Thanks to several members who made my season possible, you know who you are!

Great stuff Kyle! Heck of a moose! I think an elk is in your future as well. While you're out doing some coyote control, try for some of those wolves. We had a pack howling the one evening Abbey and I were in the blind watching no deer come in....hmmmm....and they were up by the plant of all places!!!!

Great pictures Kyle I guess your deer season went the same as most of ours. I never saw a mature buck in any areas I could hunt this year, none on the camera either.
