No moose left in PG.
You would have better luck around Quesnel

In actual fact, the forest around Quesnel has been mowed like your front lawn in Parksville. Nary a stick for the moose to hide behind, better to hang around Williams Lake.

For those fortunate to have a draw quite a few coming out from Vanderhoof south.

Well, have fun. Everyone shoots a moose in those areas sooner or later. Too many hunters = waste of my time. Let us PG boys know how you do. I've been out the Blackwater 9 times so far this season and have yet to see a moose.

Bullmoose,
Actually, I was kidding about no moose in that area.
There are indeed moose in that area but the number of hunters far outweigh the number moose!
It's a complete gong show out there. I have been out there a few times over the last few weeks and you cannot drive 2 KM without seeing a camp. Everybody and there dog goes out the Blackwater.
There are much better areas around PG to see moose with far less hunting pressure.
