Score this Whitetail

Hey guys,

Just trying to figure out what this guy will be scoring. Do you take him now or let him grow another year or two?

Any ideas of what he will score? My guess was 155-160

bigger on mainbeams,
bases a touch bigger but rest of mass about the same
G3 G4 and I have a G5 on one side look longer

Your brows are obviously bigger, that'll get you 5-6 inches
Inside spread is a wash

i think this deer is bigger than you think. trail cam pics are really decieving. i would say this deer is close to 155. looks like it has about a 19 inch spread with long points. its a nice deer regardless!!

I agree, if that's a Peace country buck shoot him now. AB, SK, or MB then you may find bigger.

I was thinking the same, looks like hes got a good wound on his neck, maybe a graze, arrow, or a fight who knows, regardless a nice buck that not many would pass up. 146" my guess

That's what I was thinking as well!

I put him between 150-155", the question to pass him depends on a few factors but for me I'd pass hopping to see him next year. I don't believe he's old, just starting his prime, so he should have a few great years to get bigger.

He's a good soild whitetail that most BC hunters would be happy with. You should take him if, that wound gets infected he won't make winter. He already looks like wolf bait to me. It would be nice to get him now and enjoy the mount for years.

Looks about 145-ish. Good buck though, all depends on what YOU are looking for.

145-150" max.
He just does not have great tine length or long beams.
With that said...he would be a super bow buck but if you want a big WT let him walk this year but start to feed him over the winter and until green up in the spring.
Put out mineral blocks to help with antler growth.

But in the end you can't eat the antlers so you may want to put some meat in the freezer.
Either way you can't go wrong.

wider than his ears, a few deductions = 149 1/8" . looks like a muture buck in his prime.. shoot now measure later.....

Low 150s, my guess is he is an Alberta deer and they all get kinda grey late in the fall during the rut
