Took this pig yesterday, on a lynx hunt. The client says only interested in a huge tom. First track of the morning a snowed in track. Matt says looks big and I say it is big. 3 hours later and one good recurve shot and the 180 lb tom hit the ground. Green scored 15 9/16

That's a magnificent cat, "chilcotin hillbilly"

Had a huge tom pose sideways well within bow range on the road in the upper Stave Valley a few years ago. It had been feeding on a doe, and it's stomach was almost touching the ground. I would think it was almost as big, but not quite, and it was very orange, it's head was very wide and even darker orange than it's body. Do you get dark coloured cats up your way?

Big Lew, we do get some cats with a red tinge to them, but most older toms seem to be tawny with a bit of grey.
