my draw starts on the first and im just kinda wondering if anybody is connecting lately. also what kind of winter conditions to expect (snow depth, temperature, etc).

I know there were two shot opening day we got ours on 2nd day and left next morn, so don't know what happened after that .

Stones - were they up in the hills or down in the valley when you were there? what were the conditions like?

all three that I know of were shot in the valley bottom one was a single mine was in a herd of 20 not sure about third one about a foot of snow on the 17th when we left call me at 250-956-4877 for more info......Ken

I was there from the 19-23 about 1ft of snow, a few bison scatterred around the valley from Horse Camp on back to the end of the valley. weather was friggin cold -20 to-30 there were a couple of animals that were shot at but not harvested. They are there, but they are quite spooky, I think because of the cold weather they spent most of there daylight hours in the timber. It also was good to be first on the trail as the bison aren`t spookeked into the timber yet. We didn`t connect but did see a few gut piles. Hope your trip is successfull.

Horse camp and beyound are your best chances of harvesting one. I got mine at almost 10k past there, thats where they seem to hang out. I got mine Oct 3rd, so I couldnt tell what it would be like right now. Just make sure you get on the road earlier the better.
