Horse lake/100 mile house

A friend is taking me up to his cabin, and he wants to tag along with me and see what hunting is like.

I was wondering if anyone could point me to an area where we could hike from cutblock to timber to cutblock to timber... or even an area that we could road hunt (i know, i know... :oops:shameful)

something close to horse lake in 100 mile....?

just 10kms east from 100 mile

also does 100 mile have any discharge of firearms bylaws?

there are a few regarding the lagoon area and aa few more but once you are out in the bush your good to go I'd head out the Exiter road and have a look see lots of cut blocks and side roads also the west side of the lake at lac la hache used to be good.
