Elk/Whitetail hunt

Well it's down to no sleep at night and day dreaming all day. Three more sleeps till i head to the kootneys to meet hunter1947 and a few of his buddies for a hunt. It is my first year in the area but hunter1947 has hunted there for years, so he will be able to show me some good country. I met hunter1947 last year on vancouver island on an elk hunt with my buddy. We had lots of good laughs around the camp fire, and cant wait to do it over again this year. We will be hunting Elk, and Whitetail, for 9 days so hopefully we will make it a success. Keep an eye out for some posts and pictures when we get back. It will be a great trip no matter what.

Im jealous! Wayne invited me to go with you guys, but i already got my elk. If i had an elk tag id be there too! A long way to go for a whitey and the old lady just wouldnt understand if I took off for that long again! Good luck, elk hunting is the best!

Trigger... you will see lots of elk country for sure... Hunter 1947 will walk your feet off!! If I win the lotto tonight I will be up there to join you!!!! Have fun... I'm jealous... Tom
