Hope this pic shows up. Got him just before the rut, he nets out at 151" and weighed 167lbs hanging at my butchers.
Sure got lucky with this brute. I was supposed to head up into the hills for a mule deer hunt but a buddy stopped by and held me up for awhile so i had to change my plans because of the time. I decided to hit a tree stand i had set up a couple years ago (after seeing this buck 2 years prior) to see if anything was starting to happen. With 45 minutes before dark i heard some crashing to my left and i could see a critter running hard and away from me. He turned and ran back down the trail i was set up on. After i finished the skinning and caping i called my buddy to thank him for holding me up for so long.
