Well see how everyone asks for the story here it is. I was on my propert with my brother doing a little archery practice when we decided our groups were getting really good at 50 yards when all of a sudden my girl friend sneaks up and yells my name just as I released a shot. I had a perfect 5 shot group going untill that in 6inches high and 6inches to the right damn was I upset but then she turns and says look beside you. There he was 30yrds away standing broadside chewing on some black berry bushes a nice 2X3 Black tail. Me and my brother did the old rock paper scissors. Best out of 3 of course. And I won so I grabbed one of my carbon express 350 grain arrows equipped with a rage broad head and fired. He jumped in the air walked 10yrds looked at me and fell over. Complete pass through leave the heart attached by only one artery. The work then began and I had some amazing tender loin steaks for dinner tonight. As soon as I can figure out how to post the pictures I will.

Most Excellent!

Garden-fed venison, sans growth hormones and fatteners. :-D

I wish I had the picture of my dad grilling steaks on his hibachi, with a five point watching him in the background at about 10 yards.

There not so much as pets as they are destructive the does and fawns every year are fine they mow down the gardens and that a little but the bucks keep destroying our trees we have 2 plum a peach and an apple tree that we planted over the past few years and every year they target them to rub there velvet off and when there rutting they really do a number on them. Also my family and I hade so nice back straps last night and they were delicious. I know if i see another one come through I just might have to take him too. Theres a really nice 4x5 that comes through every so often but I havent seen him in about a months.
