HI everyone, I want to talk you for your help in advance. My friend has just had his mom and and sister pass away in the same month and I want to show him that life still has a meaning. I want to take him on a day hunt to atleast see some deer. We are able to travel anywhere within 2 hours of PG. I have only hunted PG for a few years and have yet to see a legal deer. Not looking for any honey holes just some guidance. We will have a good time and many laughs even if we dont shoot anything just some more directional guidance would be appreciated. Thank you for all your posts.

A little longer drive but go for an over nighter and hunt the junction sheep range area. Very pretty and you should see a few deer if you get out and walk around.

I'd have to say X2 in Hudson Hope, never been there but my neighbour returned a couple of weeks ago with a 6x6 elk, 5x5 elk and a 4x4 Mule deer between him and his son and daughter-in-law.

We were down on the Moffat Lake rd [heads towards James Mountain], just south/east of Quesnel on monday. Just road hunting, and saw over 30 deer........
