Well there is not going to be much of a story with these bucks guys sorry.

Ill give a quick story on each buck.

starting with my first good blacky was the yellow rack 3x3.
2008/
I found myself a nice spot that was full of deer sign so i put up some trail cams and tree stands. One of the first times I was going to check my trail cameras i found this guy on there. I only had to hunt for a couple of days for him because it was the rut and the bucks where chasing hard. I showed up to the spot late one rainy windy morning and to my surprise I ran into him within 5 mins. The rest is history.

2008/
This bucks is the biggest body blacktail that i have seen to date.
As the rut was still fired up and the bucks where chasing like crazy i decided to walk back into my spot the next day. I didn't think there was a chance in hell that I would run into another good buck, but low and behold when i came around the corner there he was lying beside a doe and wasn't moving a muscle. He stood up and I stuck him with a arrow. He didn't make it 45 yards. He weighed in hanging no head no legs no fur just meat and bones at 158lbs.

well 2009 and was a bust I spent many hrs in the stand freezing my ass off and never did have the chance to shoot the buck I was after. I got alot of good trail cam pics and alot of good sights and sounds watching the deer.

2010/
This buck is one of my best. I spent time in the stand and with alot of hard work and trail cam recon i was sure excited to get a crack at this guy. One night just before dark it all came together for me and i got the buck I was after....finally...

Now that brings me to 2011. I have been very fortunate over the last 4 or 5 years chasing some very nice blacktails with my bow. This year was no exception. I got good trail cam pics and I knew the deer now by name. This guy im very proud of since I have been passing on him for three years now and letting him grow. I did not know if I was going to shoot him this year, but when he made his appearance last Friday int he fresh snow I did not hesitate. My shot was a little low from my tree stand so thank god for the snow and the blood trail. I found him bedded and gave him a quick follow up shot and the deed was done. I am very fortunate to get the deer and I thank my lucky stars I can hunt these awesome deer. Im not sure there is any deer that I would rather hunt for.

If there is anyone interested in the scores.

The yellow rack 3x3 came in official at 109 7/8
The big body big ugly rack came in official at 105 6/8
The big 3x3 came in officail at 111 7/8 gross 124
This years buck (green) came in at 115 6/8 gross 124

I realize for some of the rifle hunters out there these may not seem that big, but they are all archery and all well within the blacktail range.

thanks for looking. And I hope i did the pics right on here.

PS sorry for the bad spelling and lack of grammer, I know it pisses some people off on this site lol.

The yellow rack buck i will not say who did it. All i will say is that is was a waist of money and im not happy with it. the sec buck was done at ganders in surrey and im more then happy with it. the buck i got last week will be done by ganders as well.

Those are some fantastic blacktails to take with a bow! Not an easy thing to do....getting blacktail bucks of that calibre into bow range. Congrats and thanks for sharing these pics.
