Took advantage in a break in the weather for some training and jump shooting on the Nanaimo River Estuary. Just nice to get out and do something diffrent.

Did most of my duck hunting there in my younger days. Great place. We used to put in at Chase River, right by the Bold Knight.

Quick question... why is it illegal to hunt that land east of your location in that pic?? Too close to houses or something?? Just wondering cuz it seems like it would be great if hunters could get in there!

East is the duke pt. industrial park and private posted land. I think still not real clear on N,S E&W here everything seems backward to me I'll take a compas reading if I think of it next time. lol
