Dec 10-12 too late for blacktail on coast (past Langdale)?

Thinking doing a short trip to a coastal area (Langdale and past) for blacktail Dec 10 -12. Wondering if anyone has any luck at this time of year?

I'm asking in reference to MU 2-5 which is open until Dec. 15. Wondering if the in general the success rate for harvesting a blacktail declines through the early part of December...are they generally less visible then? Ever hunted them that late Dingdong...

have had success here on the island at that later date , seem to get a secondary rut on then. but have not hunted the langdale area.

nov 30 it closes for gos gun and bow season till dec 9 lots of bucks this year and some real big ones

had a 4x5 in gibsons a few weeks ago had several attempts at him, just would not give me a clean shot. there is plenty of deer there .
