Blacktail hunting

I must say haven't been on here in awhile but still love the stories and info, I was out hunting Blacktail on the weekend as usaul and finally shot a heavy 4x4 blacktail must say this one should make the book. For people that know me this is not the only blacktail I've shot this size. I know your policy here is pictures but I never could loud pics on here and I do have them on the camera, so any help would be appreciated. As for proguide 66 you'd love this blacktail mature heavy everything you are looking for must thank my son for the help getting it out almost 4 km in and 4 hours later. Must say this morning I'm a we bit sore from haed to toe.

Hey Rock .. just go to www.tinypic.com and then upload the pic .. then you will get a code that you can paste here. just copy and paste the UBB thread code version of the codes that are available after you upload and paste it into your thread. congratulations on your buck you can upload pictures to the gallery on this site. Then open up and copy and paste to this thread. If they are to big you may have to resize them to large or meduim on your computer.

Thanks everybody, upon skinning this guy we weighed him with hide and legs he was 225 lbs after everything was off 180 now I know why I was sore the next day, off to get another this weekend there really ripping the trees where I'm at and started to run the does pretty heavy, hopefully I'll see his cousin.

inside he's 18 " but sure has nice mass, as for blacktails there's lots this way as well you just have to know where to go and put your time in, I probably saw 3 similiar before I put the hammer down on this guy.

That's an awesome buck! I'm the guy who just met you at Canadian Tire. Everyone would tell me that the blacktail's around here are too small, but I could never understand why they would be considering all the year round vegetation in the lower mainland. Your buck proves they are around :)
