Contact Info Private Land Ft. St. John elk for next fall

Is there a list or some starting point for private land owners
in the Ft. St. John area for elk next year? I'm looking to try
and arrange something for the 3 point/cow opening for the fall.

There use to be a producers list, about 3 years ago , farmers had issue with hundreds of phone calls apparently. I have been up there at that time of year a few times and personally don't think hunting a field will do you any good, they are still in the thick stuff most of the time in sept and seem to hit any fields at night if they need to at all.

there is a list available from M.O.E. it was old but i found i few people still willing to let you on there property also try good scotch and smoked salmon

It is a crap shoot to rely on the farmers unless you know someone! There are quite a few elk, but it is NOT like shooting fish in a barrel. Crown land is a better bet, take a sled, snowshoes, and a packboard. Have fun and be ready for -30 and blizzards all the way to +6 and raining. Last winter I was up there and it went from -25 to +6 and rain to -15 and a foot and a half of snow...............IN 3 DAYS!!!!!!! Moosin
