Clear Roads or Low Snow Volumn Roads in Region 8??

I'm taking my dad hunting tomorrow, he has bad knees and can't really walk much. I couldn't secure a truck for tomorrow, so I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere in the Vernon/Lumby area where the roads would be decent enough to cruise in a minivan. I have winter tires, but they're more of an ice tread than a snow tread and it does ride fairly low. Any thoughts?

Your dad has bad knees,do not go hunting without a four wheel drive at this time of year .You will only be asking for trouble.
